I. General information
The confidentiality of your personal data is a priority for GARANTI CONSTRUCT IMOB SRL, with its registered office at București, Sectorul 1, Șoseaua București-Ploiești, nr. 7A, acting as the data controller.
This document explains how we process personal data when you use the website garanticonstruct.eu (the “Site”).
You may contact us at office@garanticonstruct.eu or by telephone at +40 749 174 407 regarding this policy or the exercise of your rights.
II. Categories of personal data processed
II.1. If you visit the Site and send us a message via the contact form or the contact details published on the Site, we will process the data you provide directly (for example your name, telephone number, e-mail address and message content), as well as technical data generated in connection with your use of the Site (for example IP address, session identifiers, browser type, date and time of access), where such data is recorded by the technical infrastructure used.
II.2. We do not operate an online shop through the Site and we do not require you to create a user account for ordinary browsing. If additional features are introduced in the future (for example a newsletter), you will be informed separately and processing will only take place on a lawful basis and with respect for your rights.
III. Purposes and legal bases of processing
III.1. To respond to requests sent through the Site (including via the contact form), we process the data necessary to communicate with you.
Legal basis: processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the controller in communicating with people who contact us and, where applicable, for steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Providing the data is necessary for us to respond meaningfully. If you do not provide essential data (for example a valid e-mail address or telephone number), we may be unable to assist you.
III.2. To comply with legal obligations that apply to us (including tax, archiving or reporting to authorities, where applicable).
Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
III.3. For aggregated analysis of Site usage (for example traffic metrics, content and security improvements), where we use technical tools that involve such processing.
Legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), within the limits set by law.
III.4. For direct marketing activities (for example commercial communications by e-mail or SMS) only where there is a lawful basis (consent or applicable legal provisions) and only after you have been clearly informed.
IV. How long we keep your data
In principle, we keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above.
Data from correspondence via the contact form may be kept for the time needed to handle your request and thereafter for the period required by our internal retention policies and applicable law (including limitation periods).
If you withdraw consent for an optional purpose (where consent applies), we will stop processing for that purpose without affecting processing that was already carried out lawfully.
V. Disclosure of personal data
For the purposes described above, we may disclose your data to suppliers who assist us in operating the Site (for example web hosting, e-mail, IT maintenance) and to public authorities when required by law or necessary to defend a right in court.
VI. International transfers
Personal data may be transferred to countries within the European Union or the European Economic Area, in accordance with the GDPR. If other categories of transfers were to occur, you would be informed as required by law.
